Dr. James Harrington
ASPIRE² Evaluation Team Lead
Associate Professor, Public and Nonprofit Management in EPPS

Dr. Harrington leads the Evaluation Team (ET), which includes faculty, staff and administrators who have the requisite experience in designing evaluation tools, data collection and analysis and preparation of evaluation reports. Harrington has expertise in program evaluation and research design.

Harrington and the ET will:

1. Identify specific indicators and measurements to assess the ASPIRE² project’s progress toward achieving its goals and objectives.
2. Ensure that summaries of formative data collected throughout the project and comprehensive annual reports are provided to the Implementation Teams.
3. Make recommendations for improvements over the course of the project.
4. Serve as a liaison to the external evaluators and to the various project teams.
